It always worked, always connected.īase camp seems really buggy lately, more so than usual. It also has to be plugged in to the Mac directly, not into a USB hub. If I disconnect all other USB devices, and set my Mac to boot from the first partition and not mount any more volumes, I can get the Zumo to connect to Basecamp and transfer to/from the device. I also have two external drives, one for Media and one for backup. I have two SSD drives in my Mac and one is partitioned into two areas, so when booted it appears that I have three hard drives. The Zumo has to be the second or third mounted device. After spending 6 hours trying to load a simple route on to the Zumo, I have a few observations. Would anyone be able to provide a sequence for that? Again, I've followed the steps in Basecamp. The XT does now get recognized by Basecamp, after using the six steps noted in a previous response, but cannot seem to get routes to the XT consistently. the separate segments of the new practice route show up under Saved! No total file that I can select and "GO" to, just the individual segments of the route I created.) It says "complete", but the gpx file doesn't show up on the XT. I follow the transfer process in Basecamp.
#Garmin express not working on my mac android
It shows up in the Android app that I downloaded, it shows up on My Collections in Basecamp, but does not show up on the XT no matter how many times I restart and go through the transfer process. Then I created another route on Ridewithgps for a practice transfer. I also successfully added the MABDR to the XT.

I successfully transferred a gpx file of an old route from Ridewithgps (related note - I still cannot get basecamp to create a route, so I used Ridewithgps).
